A wonderful presentation and I’m glad you’re enjoying the award.

I’m a vegetarian too and enjoy cooking and also am interested in Reiki as well. I hope to study it one day.

Thank you so much for such an honor. I am very surprised and today was a total surpise to me. You were the second person who nominated me for this reward. On my blog site I have thanked the two of you at the sametime. I was not sure what to do so I decided to name both of you on my blog for this wonderful award. Thank you so much for reading my blog and liking it so much to nominate me for such an award.

Congratulations, Luz. Much deserved and I enjoyed learning more about you. (I am retired now, but was a Reiki practitioner and teacher too.)

Thanks you for passing the award to me at “Into the Bardo.” I will post about it soon.

    Warmest regards,
    Jamie Dedes

It’s good that Reiki is now becoming more accepted by the medical profession as a complimentary rather than an ‘alternative’ therapy. I am retired too, but still take one to one classes by recomendation and do Reiki exchanges with people I have initiated, it’s nice for them to meet like minded people and have a chat as well as an exchange of energy.

Hee. We have more than a few things in common. I also completed the Reiki master level but never used it enough to teach. Rather cursory training I had to use for working with the dying.

You have to be a special kind of person to work with the dying. Reiki helps so much with its comforting energy. I love to teach, I always learn from those I initiate. It is so good to see people opening up to the energy and experiencing spiritual growth. I once taught a young Hindu girl. At the end of the course she honoured me as her teacher by kneeling and placing my foot on her head. Sounds odd, but it was so very moving.
