Smoke a Kyrielle

stainforth cigarettes.

Cold of morning and light of day

if only there was another way

to calm the nerves without the must

aroma of ashen tobacco dust.

.

The hacking cough begins its grip

with morning coffee’s first sweet sip

First click of light, first drag a must

aroma of ashen tobacco dust.

.

From scalded lungs smoke rings emerge

if only this habit could be purged

freedom from the addictive fuss

aroma of ashen tobacco dust.

Orbs

Phenomenon of digital photography reveals telepathy,

a split second expression of the thought process

is captured  before the smile is set.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

.

Glowing balls of light

with intricate patterns

and colours of the spectrum

are captured hanging in space

or moving fast as if in a race

to move out of the frame.

In wild open country spaces

and historical holy places

they inhabit the next dimension.

Orbs 5

.

My first picture is the barc at the Edfu Temple in Egypt, you will notice an intricate patterned light ball almost centre picture.

My second picture was taken whilst walking near Parcent in inland Spain, you will notice a coloured ball moving very fast and to the right of it a smoke like outline of a strange figure.  The day was perfect clear sunshine.

.

The orbs were not visible to the naked eye, only seen on the digital photograph.

Prompt from Carpe Diem WINTER MOON and LAST OF WINTER.  On 2 February in the Christian calender Candlemass is marked with a candle flame.  In the Celtic tradition this is Imbolc when the Wise Crone who has taken us through Winter since Samhain is renewed in the fresh youth of Brigid the Goddess of Spring.
